Provincial Councils and Climate Change

Though Sri Lanka is a small Island, there different climatic regions. Based on these regions, the environmental issues faced by them are different. The available Provincial Council system of the country should be used as a base for understanding and solving the climate related issues. Two major issues faced today are the drought and flood. The efforts are needed to overcome these two in very near future to avoid loss of human lives and capital of the country.

Welcome you all for this new forum. We intend to talk many issues relating to our society. Attempts will be made to center the topic arounf Climate Change and Sustainabilty of our Agriculture. However other issues are not spared off. So the ethnic problem too will be another hot issue here.
